You can tell a book by its cover.  Each book shows a situation or event that upsets me in some way, sometimes personal and sometimes an observance of a situation gone awry.  The thorns are from the roses in my own garden.  I like the idea that that which gives me so much pleasure can be used to show that which gives causes pain.
